I read a quote recently from the founder of Keller Williams, Gary Keller, that really struck a chord with me.
“It is not that we have too little time to do all the things we need to do, it is that we feel the need to do too many things in the time we have.” – Gary Keller
I would just like to be real for a second. As a real estate agent, there is always something that needs to be done. A phone call to be returned, an email to be answered, a deal to be negotiated, a house to stage, and so much more. Sound relatable? There are so many professions out there with similar demands that don’t allow you to just clock out at 5:00 each day and check out. But, don’t forget that time is precious and to use it wisely.
We all have the same amount of time in the day. Whether you are a stay at home mom, a college student, working a desk job, or a realtor it can all be overwhelming at times. But we choose how we spend our time based on what is most important to us.
I thought this quote was a great reminder as we head into the fall season and have the holidays just around the corner. This is your challenge to take time this weekend and hit the reset button to just breathe, spend time with family, and do something to invest in your future.
